I've had my 2013 Volt for about three months now and I love it. Last night I was a few blocks from home, the car chimed, and two messages came up alternating saying Service Stabilitrak and Service Power Steering. Everything seemed ok until I tried to turn the car.

If the12v is low, it is possible the car will not start if the battery cannot get all of the computers talking to each other.The internal combustion engine will not start in your Chevy Volt if the high voltage battery has failed. Due to risk of electrocution, as the battery produces over 300 volts, its recommended to get it checked by a professional mechanic. See more ….
