In terms of Fusion value, a Rare 10 Ancient Fusion Core is roughly worth two Rare 5 cores. "Worth" in the vaguest of terms, since you can't trade Ancient Fusion Cores (says the wiki). Even if you could, they'd be worth about 5P to non-collectors. As for ranking up mods, you could grind the endo and the credits. Selling fully socketed ayatans and duplicate mods give decent amount of endo whilst selling duplicate oberon/harrow parts yeilds decent amount of credits.Probably not much. Over the years endo and credits become easier and easier to farm (ayatan,profit taker,arbritation,index etc.). Unless they release new type of mod that even more costly to upgrade than prime mod. Legendary core mostly just gonna stay as mild convenient.

And then today's, I finally got a Legendary Core. Felt good. But it's hard to quantify unless we have an actual study/statistic. about .25% or so, probably lower. Then again the sorties over inflated the market for them, so something that was going upwards 1000 plat is now about... 250-500.
